Everyone has their Sunday tradition. Family gatherings, brunches, church; whatever little thing that makes Sunday’s so familiar and in a way, a day to look forward to. My best friend and I have created our own tradition which consists of picking a random restaurant spot to brunch at, while laughing and catching each other up on our weeks. We cabbed ourselves toward Coffeeshop on 17th and the corner of University Pl. home of the famous Passiosas (passion fruit & champagne). Unfortunately there was a typical 45 min wait and with our hunger, we headed elsewhere. With nowhere else in mind, we trusted one of our iPhone apps and ended up in a cute little French bistro on 12th called DiFiore. The atmosphere was pretty chill and the walls covered with sketches and paintings from local artists.
I ordered a delicious mushroom quesadilla that was nothing short of extraordinary. I highly recommend it!
After brunch we headed out to do some walking around the city and of course some long (or maybe not) overdue shopping spree. I took a moment in one of the stalls to snap some shots of what I was wearing, since it’s been a while since I posted one of those.
major compliments on my JC’s.
Our walks consisted mainly right smack on 5th avenue towards Ann Taylor, H&M, GAP and Express. After much shopping and bags, we shimmied our way towards Hillsong, for a nice little Sunday Service.
I’m exhausted, but had enough fun to last for weeks. Knowing me, I couldn’t resist the urge for shoes, so I got myself beautiful flats, mostly for work purposes but whatever, don’t judge.
and of course I couldn’t pass up a pair of GAP ’69 high rise wide legs.
